DESCRIPTION:The Croxby Series returns for 2017\, with five races between May and August. \nEntry is on the day\, from the start/finish. \nThe postcode for the start/finish is DN37 0TP (map) \nPLEASE PARK WELL OVER ON THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE ROAD (LOOKING UPHILL). We need to allow access for tractors and the like. \n1 lap is 4.44 miles\, 2 laps are 8.88 miles. All races start ay 7pm\, and entry for the 1 lap is £3. Entry for the 2 lap is £4 – with a free ice cream for every 2 lap finisher. \n2017 Croxby Dates \n3rd May – 1 lap \n7th June – 2 laps \n5th July – 2 laps \n2nd August – 1 lap \n30th August – 1 lap \nCroxby Crippler (13.2 miles which is just short of 3 laps) Saturday 16th September\, 10am start with a course time limit of 2hours 30minutes\, £5.00 to enter of which £1 will go to the the clubs nominated charity. \nPlease note: \n\nFollow instructions of Marshalls at all times\nNo headphones or similar devices may be worn\, wearing them will result in disqualification\nKeep on the left hand side of the road at all times\, ensuring you do not cross over to the right at any stage\nThe marshals have a small supply of water if you are in need. No number transfers allowed. The race is restricted to 150 competitors due to safety reasons. Minimum age is 11. \nWheelchair users wishing to enter this event are asked to contact us prior to the event for details on how to enter. \nHeadphones are strictly not permitted during the event as per UKA Rules. \nIf the race is cancelled due to adverse weather conditions there will be no refunds given.
