DESCRIPTION:Click here for full event details \n• Date: Sunday 12th November \n• Start Time: 12:30 pm  \n• Location: Market Rasen Racecourse \n• Pre-Race Entry: Affiliated £15/Unaffiliated £17 \n• Price for race day entry: £20 \n• Online booking through www.therealeventscompany.co.uk  \n• Hard cop application forms available on request \n• Race Permit: Applied For  \nMarket Rasen 10k makes its debut as the first of our brand new Real Events Company Run Series. \nThis multi terrain race takes place on roads fields and forests and is perfect for those who love the space of running in the countryside! \nNot only is this 10k multi-terrain race a great event when it comes to motivating people to get active and do more exercise\, it also brings the local communities together. You don’t have to be a serious runner. You can walk\, jog or run. \nThe race starts at Market Rasen Racecourse (but you don’t need to be a thoroughbred to enter!) before going onto Legsby Road then onto Dog Kennel Wood. Runners\, Joggers and Walker will then complete a loop of the woods\, with the surface changing from road to grass and some uneven surfaces\, before going back onto Legsby Road and then back in to Market Rasen Racecourse to the finish. \nWhether you are running for fun\, a charity or practically pro! we offer a race on closed roads\, cleared tracks through ancient woodland and grassed paths. The route includes a few hills to offer a small challenge around the course in some of the most scenic Lincolnshire countryside. \nThe Autumn colours should make this a race to remember in this natural area of beauty. \nThe Market Rasen 10k Race will be electronically timed \nRace numbers and your timing chip can be collected on the morning of the race between 10:00am and 12:25 pm. Please allow enough time to collect these from Race Registration \nFirst Aid provision at the start/finish and along the route will be supplied by British Red Cross. \nThe course will be marshalled by qualified staff \nHot & Cold drink and Sandwiches are available in the Red Rum Bar at the racecourse \nToilets are in the Brocklesby Suit at the racecourse \n
