Junior Members Section
Training for juniors starts at 10.15am and finishes at approximately 11.15am Saturday mornings
From April to September, training is usually held on Saturday morning from Louth Athletics Club grounds, London Road, Louth.
From October to March, training is usually held on Tuesday evenings from King Edward Grammar School Sports Hall, Crowtree Lane, Louth. On occasions, the junior endurance runners may be invited to join the senior runners.
Our coaches complete England Athletics courses, relevant safeguarding training and are DBS checked, previously known as CRB checks. Parent helpers and qualified coaches are often required to help at training sessions to allow for a wider range of training to take place.
Cost £2 per session plus annual membership fees.
What to bring – Please bring a coat, track suit top or jumper and a bottle of water and if any athlete uses an inhaler please bring it along and let the relevant coach know. If injured please don’t come. Hi-Viz might be required during the winter season.
Waiting List – sometimes due to demand, we have to hold a waiting list for new Junior Athletes.
