2026-27 Fees
The Louth AC Membership fee for Seniors and Juniors is £30.
3 members of the same family each enjoy a 10% discount on the Louth AC membership fee (£27 instead of £30).
In addition, all Junior members will be charged a £2 a session training fee. This will go towards the hire of the school training facilities and new club equipment.
The EA registration fee is £23 per athlete.
The Supporters fee is £10.
England Athletics registration
When you apply for or renew your membership of Louth AC we will automatically provide England Athletics with your personal data which they will use to enable your access to an online portal called myAthletics. England Athletics will email you to invite you to sign into the myAthletics portal so you can, amongst other things, manage and update your personal details.
Your initial EA status will be as an unregistered, non-competitive, Social Athlete. Or, your status will be Not a current athlete if your membership with Louth AC is as a Supporter.
However, you can choose to be registered as a Competitive Athlete with England Athletics (£23 fee). Amongst other things, this gives you a £2 discount on entry fees for all licensed road and multi-terrain events (off-track clubs only).
You are required to register as a Competitive Athlete with England Athletics if you wish to compete for the club in competitions under UKA Rules. But Juniors under 11 years old do not require EA registration to compete.
Club Members are encouraged to compete in at least 3 league competitions a year and must compete in club colours. Seniors not wishing to compete are encouraged to help at 3 events a year by marshalling or officiating in some other capacity.
See the full range of England Athletics registration benefits here: https://www.englandathletics.org/take-part/athlete-registration/benefits/
Previously registered athletes who have not renewed their EA registration by 30 June will become ‘unregistered’ at that point.

In Case of Emergency contact details and medical info. Club Wristbands
You are required to take full responsibility for your own safety and carry In Case of Emergency (ICE) contact details and relevant medical information on your person during club activities/events.
You are encouraged to purchase a club wristband (£15.95) which displays your In Case of Emergency (ICE) contact details and relevant medical information. Purchase a wristband here: Sports Guardian.
The club will not request ICE and medical data for Senior members as part of their membership application.
Junior members (or a parent/guardian on their behalf) are required to provide ICE and medical data to Coaches prior to participation. To facilitate this, the club will request ICE and medical data for Junior members as part of their membership application.
Junior members (or a parent/guardian on their behalf) will also provide Coaches with such medication as required and give them authority to use it, at their discretion, should the need arise.
Second Claim Club Membership
Runners who are registered with other clubs as their first claim club are permitted under EA rules to become a member of a second club known as a Second Claim. Whilst this may be for social, coaching or other reasons that athlete may compete for that Club in competitions which specifically state in its rules that its competition is open to Second Claim members.
If you are interested in registering as a second claim member with Louth AC, please contact Paul Snowden.
For further details on Second Claim, please see here: Rules and Regulations
Trialists
The club appreciates not everyone will get the running bug. Therefore the club allows new runners to attend club nights as a trial for 8 weeks before having to become a member. Runners who only want to come along occasionally should speak to the Coach or Chairperson about their options.
Louth AC 200 Club
The 200 Club is a raffle that is drawn monthly. The entry fee is £2 per month. Each month, 50% of the total entry fee receipts is distributed in cash prizes. The first name drawn each month wins 50% of the available cash prize, the second name wins 25% and the third name drawn wins 15%. The remainder is retained by the club.
In March and September there is a slightly larger and more varied prize allocation to allow for a fourth name drawn to win a prize.
If you wish to enter, please complete a form here: 200 Club entry form
