WOLDS DASH SERIES 2026

We’re delighted to announce the dates for the 2026 Wolds Dash Series for both seniors and juniors.

The senior series features five challenging races, primarily on road, over a range of distances. Each race showcases the spectacular Lincolnshire Wolds countryside around Louth — testing, scenic courses designed to suit confident runners of all abilities.

You can enter as many or as few races as you like, but to be eligible for the overall series awards, competitors must complete at least four races.
All races start and finish at the picturesque Hubbard’s Hills, with ample parking available and refreshments provided before and after each event.

Location: Hubbard’s Hills, Louth
Race start time: 7:00pm
Entry fee: £5 per race (seniors) | £3 per race (juniors). All races to be entered on the night.

Whether you’re chasing series points or simply enjoying great racing in a beautiful setting, the Wolds Dash Series is a summer highlight not to be missed.

SENIOR CATEGORIES – UNDER 18, UNDER 20, SENIORS, VET WOMEN (40+) & VET MEN (40+)

Race 1.  Wednesday 13th May  – circa 7k

Race 2.  Wednesday 10th June  – circa 7k

Race 3.  Wednesday   8th July  – circa 10k

Race 4.  Wednesday 12th August  – circa 7k

Race 5.  Wednesday   2nd September – circa 7k

 

JUNIOR CATEGORIES – BOYS & GIRLS (NEW EA AGE CATEGORIES FOR 2026)

Under 10’s  1 lap  –  1200 metres

Under 12’s   2 laps – 2210 metres

Under 14’s   3 laps – 3220 metres

Under 16’s   4 laps  – 4230 metres

Under 18’s   5 laps *  – 5240 metres

(*This race is available for those Juniors not wishing to compete on the road & take points)

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • All races to be entered on the night
  • Categories are defined as age on 13th May 2026.
  • Junior races are run on a course suitable for spikes
  • Declaration form to be completed & submitted before your first race.
  • Points to be awarded after each fixture.
  • To qualify for overall awards 4 races must be completed. (If you compete in all 5 races the best 4 results will count and where you have athletes on equal points the 1st prize will be awarded to the person having won the most races).
  • Louth AC members must complete in at least 3 races to be eligible for the Mayors Trophy Handicap race.
