Tommy Clay Development League – Boston
This is a Friday night series league (track and Field) hosted by Boston & District AC at Princess Sports Arena track. There are 11 meetings scheduled from April to September 2018. 12 members have so far completed in the series. Marla Bell, Redford Bramley, Evie Brooks, Lewis Brooks, Oliver Brooks, Amanda Daniels, Carlissa Daniels, Jayden Daniels, Amelia-Jay Morley, Kerry Stainton, Ben Templeton and Declan Templeton. Catering for all ages and gives members a chance to try out new and different events and have a lot of fun!
Multi-Stage Trail Race – Round Sheffield Run starting and finishing at Endcliffe Park
This is the second time that members have travelled to Sheffield to take part in this exciting event on Sunday 24th June 2018. 11 timed stages totalling 20Km of great trials and parkland with each stage distance between 0.4km up to 3.0Km with the opportunity for a rest period between each stage. Different categories with Female, Female pair, Female veteran 40, Men, Mixed, Mail pair, Male veteran 40 and club teams of Male, Female and Mixed Team.
7 members took on this testing course – Kerry Stainton and Jayden Daniels, Ruth Edison and Amanda Daniels, Clare Koslow and Amanda Young plus Carlissa Daniels.
Kerry and Jayden both had excellent performances in the Mixed team finishing 12th in 1 hour 33 minutes 01 second out of 189 mixed pairs. (12 minutes 18 seconds behind the mixed winners). In the overall competition they were placed a fantastic 199th out of 1,832 teams.
Carlissa had a brilliant solo run in the Female category finishing 19th out of 270 runners in a time of 1 hour 37 minutes 53 seconds. (17 minutes 22 seconds behind the female winner)
Ruth and Amanda Daniels in the Female pairs finished 54th in 2 hours 28 seconds with Amanda Young and Clare finishing 74th in 2 hours 8 minutes 4 seconds out of 221 Female pairs. Both pairs had a testing run in the warm conditions.

The annual charity event held on Sunday 24th June 2018 was supported by 15 Louth AC members. Gill Crow, Allan Johnston, George Johnstone, Robert Johnstone, Malcolm Cope, Michael Dean, Keith Vickers, Kevin Wallis, Caleb Stephenson, Kandi Austin, Megan Forman, Trudy Roberts, Jane Cope, Isabelle Dhami and Debbie Simpson.
