The Tennyson 8 Mile Trail Run saw some great results for Louth runners. The scenic but gruelling off road course climbs almost 500ft over the 8 mile route.  Louth ladies Debbie Simpson, Kerry Stainton and Fiona Lawrie took it all in their stride, claiming 1st team prize for the fastest team of three ladies to cross the finish line.

Kerry  also had a great solo result claiming 1st prize for the first female finisher. Fiona came in first for the female V50 category, while Kevin Wallis took the male V50 victory.

Big smiles all round, realising their great achievement…. or are they smiling at the thought of opening the vino later!

Well done Ladies, sterling performance.
